1. I’m thankful that I can sit outside at lunch.
I enjoyed the sunshine even though my hair part is now pink. My dermatologist will hate me. Also, I still get amazed that I get to live in a place where tourists come to visit.
2. I’m thankful that I go to run the Cherry Blossom 10 miler last weekend!
Yup, I paid for the medal. And I’m glad I did because it’s so pretty. We had amazing weather and I loved seeing DC from a running point of view. Also, I am so thankful that my friends Emma and Chris let me stay there and they made me delicious meals. Food is the way to my heart. And that my BFF Mary and her husband were able to come run it too!
3. I’m thankful that I got to see the dinosaurs.
We had to make a pit stop between the race finish and brunch to clean up a little and use a non-portable toilet. We could have gone to Starbucks, but there are no dinosaurs at Starbucks. Natural History Museum for the win, people. Seriously. Best idea Mary has ever had besides becoming my friend in Kindergarten. Apparently the dinosaur exhibit is closing until 2019 for renovations, so we were extra happy to see them.
4. I am thankful for leftovers.
I’m not even going to explain this one because it’s obvious.
